Yesterday, the Saints and Colts played in Super Bowl XLIV. Former Husky QB Mark Brunell was part of a field goal unit that hit 3 field goals over 40 yards. This was the first time that this has happened in the history of the Super Bowl.

Reggie Bush  played for Coach Steve Sarkisian while at USC. Bush was instrumental in the offense at USC by playing multiple roles on offense and also playing special teams. Yesterday, Bush totaled 67 all-purpose yards in the win over the Colts. Even though he never scored his efforts made a huge impact in the win.

Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator Nick Holt coached Sedrick Ellis while at USC. Ellis recorded 3 tackles in the game, Coach Holt stated “he played with great effort and was all over the field yesterday, I could not be more proud of the man he has become both on and off the field.”
